A Divided Heart
Is our heart a
single heart? Or are we caught in a web of
confusion.A divided heart trys to serve two masters.
(Deut 6:4-5) "Hear O
Israel The Lord our God is one.
Love, the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul
and with all
your
strength." Where does your mind
spend time? Are you confused or doubting?
(1 Kings 18:21) Elijah
went before the people and said “How
long will you waver between two opinions.
If the Lord is God, follow him,
but if Baal
is God
follow him”
Let us ask God in our quiet time if we are truly
single minded of
heart or
are we trying to
serve two masters? . Is our heart divided?
The word tells us if
we are sincerely asking God he will be faithfull to answer us. Let
us be a people that seeks to do the will of the Father and
bring glory to
Him by doing that which he has prepared for us and
truly
follow a single master bringing an
end to confusion and doubt that comes
from having a divided heart.
