I am giving this to you that you may make your own choice
I guess the best way to start is to introduce myself. I am a "Christian" or to avoid confusion – a follower of Jesus Christ - the Son of God. He was sent by the Father to redeem mankind and to offer all an opportunity to have eternal life. I believe that the Bible is the "Manufacturer’s Handbook" - the infallible word of God. I am a "tolerant" person. I don’t consider myself to be prejudiced or biased. God has not sent me to convict or to debate or to be the judge of anyone. God allows us to make our own choices. However, I believe He reserves the right to judge those choices. (What if this is true?)
God desires that His GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS) be offered to all. You see if He is God than He can do whatever He wants – whether we like it or not. Psalm 115:3 says, "But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases." (What if this is true?)
What is this "Good News"?
(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (What if this is true?) Eternal life is not dependent upon your going to church, it is not dependent upon how good you are, it is not dependent upon your feelings or emotions, and it is not dependent upon who you are, what you have or your friends. It is totally dependent upon your relationship with Jesus Christ. Eternal life is given as a free gift to whosoever chooses to believe. (Ephesians. 2:8-9) "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." (What if this is true?) This gift is dependent upon your acceptance of it and can only be yours if you choose to have it. (Romans 10:9-10) … "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (What if this is true?)
I have come to realize three truths pertaining to life: (1) The longer I stay here the older I get; (2) if I live long enough I will not get out of this alive; and (3) the death rate among humans regardless of their race, color, creed, or sex is 100%. (These statements are true.) Now you might ask, "What is truth?" but before we do that WHAT IF … any of the above are in fact true then many are in for a rude awakening. This man Jesus claimed to be God and said some pretty "intolerant" things. (John 14:6) "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (Oh, but there must be other ways. Is there?) (What if this is true?) The Bible says, (Hebrews 9:27) "And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment …" (What if this is true?)
(2 Tim. 3:16) "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness…" (What if this is true?)
(2 Peter 3:9) "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." (What if this is true?)
Since the probability of dying is 100% I urge you to consider – Is there a God?’ Seek Him – challenge Him to reveal Himself to you. He desires to give you eternal life. Don’t be concerned about how you feel, your problems, your emotions, your doubts or your abilities. He is able – He will provide all that you need. (Proverbs 3:5) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding." (What if this is true?)
(John 3:16)"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
The choice is yours. Eternity is for a long time. Don’t give up because you can’t do it. It’s already been done for you – the gift of eternal life has been purchased for you – apprehend it and choose (your choice) Jesus to be the Lord (master) of your life. Confess your belief in Him today – tomorrow may not come for you.
If we can be of any help to you let us know. Our only desire is to provide you with information that you may make a choice. Now you have heard the "GOOD NEWS" – you are responsible.

Hiccup Responds With A Burp "The only hiccup for the event, said Reiser, this year was a few local religious people who stopped by the event to talk about their anti-homosexual beliefs." (Sept. 6th SCD, "Day to Be Gay" Becoming WJFF’s Largest Fundraiser.) Not being aware of any other "hiccups" at this event, I will assume a friend and I were it. I am not religious. Often religion is no more than a lot of man-made rules and regulations to control people. I am a follower of Jesus Christ – the Son of God and I consider the Bible to be the "infallible Word of God". – What if this is true? I did not knowingly express any "anti-homosexual beliefs". I am neither homophobic nor anti-homosexual. God judges, not me. He reserves judgment for Himself. - What if this is true? What someone chooses to do with their "feelings" is not my responsibility. Praise God, He has created us in His image; given us free will and we live in a country where we are free to choose. I did pass out, with discretion, to leaders of the event and a few gay friends, an article I had written, "What If?" containing Bible quotes followed by the question, "What if this is true?" (Ps 115:3; John 3:16; Eph 2:8,9; Rom 10:9,10; John 14:6; Heb 9:27; 2Tim 3:16; 2Pet 3:9; Prov 3:5). I believe Jesus commanded us to LOVE one another and He has given His followers the privilege of sharing His Gospel in obedience to His command. (Matthew 28:19-20) What each individual chooses to do with His Gospel is between them and God. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16).
