BODY OF CHRIST
I am
flexible and have few
requirements. I travel with my wife and our
dog GB and will go anywhere the Holy Spirit leads us. Although I have a
variety of prepared teachings and presentations - most often I allow
the Holy Spirit to lead according to the needs of the place where He
has sent us. I spent my
entire career in industy and ministry making presentations and
teaching. Now the Lord has called me to bring a word to His Body
encouraging them to go forth and be what the Lord has prepared them to
be. (Ephesians 2:10;1 Corinthians
12-14 - Spiritual Gifts) Crying in the Wilderness Ministry exists to
help
train - equip - and release - the Saints for the work of the
ministry. The Lord has called us to encourage unity in His Body
(John 17:23) and to warn "the called out ones" that He has given them a
great commission. Often I hear Him say: IF NOT YOU WHO? IF NOT
NOW
WHEN?
We do
ask that sufficient
funds
be provided - if possible - to cover
our traveling, housing and food. We will not turn down any invitation
if finances are not available without first consulting with the Holy
Spirit. We desire to be obedient not to make money. The Lord has and
will provide.

dying
world – proclaiming His entire love with a compassionate roar."

Available for any opportunity that will enable me to bring the message
of Crying in the Wilderness Ministry to the Body of Christ.
OBJECTIVE
To be an instrument of the Lord Jesus Christ to train, equip and
release the saints for the work of the ministry and to be used by the
Holy Spirit to encourage true unity in the Body of Christ. (John 17:20
ff) To be available as the Spirit leads to present seminars and
workshops related to the objectives stated above. Primary emphasis will
be given to ministry in that part of the Body the Lord has so
graciously given me to shepherd. "For we are His workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we
should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10)
WORK EXPERIENCE - SECULAR
(1964 -
1997)
Teaching: Seven years experience teaching Science and Math at the
Secondary and College level. Clinical Diagnostics: Twenty-six years
industrial experience in positions ranging from Manager of Quality
Assurance to Director of R&D. Managed and supervised professional
staff and administered budgets in excess of $600K. A satisfying and
rewarding career which involved opportunities to present Technical and
Scientific presentations to the Medical Profession, FDA and industry
leaders. Coordinated Project Management activities between various
departments, e.g., R&D, Engineering, Marketing, Quality Assurance,
etc. Extensive worldwide travel including successful negotiations with
international companies.
WORK EXPERIENCE -
BODY OF
CHRIST
Hankins Assembly of God Hankins, NY (June 1998 - Feburary 2005) Pastor
a
small rural church on the Delaware River in Sullivan County, NY. Have
been given the opportunity to participate in all aspects of ministry
from preaching to lawn mowing and am being abundantly blessed. In 1998
a food pantry "The Blessing". was started with the assistance of two
precious brothers in Christ - the minister of the local Methodist
Church and an elder of a nondenominational church. During the year -
2000 - over 45 tons of food was distributed - USDA and donated. I have
served or am serving on the advisory boards of various Christian
organizations including: Hope Ministries, a Christian Counseling
Ministry, J.O.Y. (Jesus, Others and Yourself), an organization of
clergy in Sullivan county interested in promoting unity in the Body of
Christ without compromising the infallible word of God - The Bible, and
as Pastoral Advisor to the board of the local Womens Aglow
Chapter. Initiated a new work in Callicoon Center, NY - "John
17:23 Christian Community Center" dedicated to training, equipping and
releasing the saints for the work of the ministry, regardless of
religious affiliation, and to unity in the Body of Christ. The emphasis
of this effort is not to start another "church" but to provide an
opportunity to train committed disciples for Christ. All are encouraged
to attend the church of their choice. If they have no home church then
they will find a caring shepherd at "John 17:23 Christian Community
Center" .

Gift
Ministries and Counseling (May 1997 - June
1998) Served in a multicultural, multiracial church located in suburban
New Jersey with an average Sunday attendance of approximately 1200.
There were 10 full time pastors and 2 part time pastors on staff.
Consultants in Christian
Living
(1993-1997) "Providing Biblical
Direction for Life's Opportunities" Founder and Codirector with my
wife, Gloria, of Consultants in Christian Living (CCL) - "Lay
Counseling Ministry". CCL provided direction to and served the various
"counseling ministries" of the church which included - New Dawn (a
ministry for homosexuals); Turning Point (various support groups); Lay
Counseling (marriage, etc.). CCL also provided training for lay
counselors. My wife and I were actively engaged in counseling and in
the planning and coordination of seminars and outreach programs. This
ministry continues today under the direction of a pastor we were
blessed to be able to mentor and share our vision.
DivorceCare Ministry (1995
- 1998) In 1995 my wife and I organized a
DivorceCare support group. We were actively involved as facilitators
and in the training of other individuals to work in this ministry. The
group continues to meet weekly throughout the year. It is a tremendous
outreach to the community and numerous individuals whom the world had
forgotten have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Director, Visitation
Deacon/ness
Ministry (1997-1998) Worked closely
with the Pastor of Pastoral Care to train and equip Deacons and
Deaconesses to provide follow up to visitors and visitation to those
attending Calvary Temple. This ministry was structured after The Deacon
Ministry of Pastor Tommy Barnett, Phoenix First Assembly of God,
Phoenix, AZ.

ALTERNATIVE CRISIS PREGNANCY CENTER, Original Board of Directors and
Cofounder - 1986 - 1988 Cochairman of Public Relations and Fund Raising

BIBLE STUDIES
(1985 - Present) Organized and conducted a variety of
Bible studies both at home and at work.
HOME GROUPS (1987 -
1991)
Home group leader, deacon and elder.
Held weekly meetings in our home which consisted of worship, teaching,
counseling, and social activities.
DEACON
(1986 -
1990) In a non-denominational charismatic church which
started with a few families in 1976 and by 1986 had a membership of 100
- 150. A new building was erected in 1990 and the church membership
grew to over 250. Was responsible for training and oversight of Ushers
and routine maintenance of church facility.
ELDER
(JUNE 1990 - OCTOBER 1991) Responsible for planning and
administration of the Budget and Financial Planning. Worked closely
with the Senior Pastor and four other elders to coordinate all church
related activities. Restructured and consolidated all existing loans
with lending institutions and established various policies related to
accounting procedures and financial responsibility.
DEACON
(1994 -
1997) Treasurer Married & Mature (Ministry to
Seniors); Usher; Alter Worker; Sunday School Teacher. In an Assemblies
of God Church located in suburban New Jersey.. Average Sunday
attendance is approximately 1200.
