Isaiah 61:1-6
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me
. ....
[6] But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken
of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, And in
their riches you will boast.
Spirit of the Lord God is upon me (you) to:
Bring good news to the afflicted
Bind up the brokenhearted,
Proclaim liberty to captives
Proclaim freedom to prisoners
Proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
Proclaim the day of vengeance of our God
Comfort all who mourn
Giving them a garland, the oil of gladness, the mantle of praise
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
IF NOT ME WHO? IF NOT NOW WHEN?
YOU ARE ANOINTED FOR MINISTRY

Every Christian is created for ministry
Ephes. 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Every Christian is saved for ministry
2 Tim. 1:9
who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to
our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted
us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,
Every Christian is called into ministry
1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a HOLY NATION, a people
for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him
who has called
you out of darkness into His marvelous light; [10] for
you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had
not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
Every Christian is gifted for ministry
1 Peter 4:10
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one
another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Every Christian is authorized for ministry
Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been
given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] "Go therefore and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father
and the Son and the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that
I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
age."
Every Christian is commanded to minister
Matthew 20:26-28
"It is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you
shall be your servant, [27] and whoever wishes to be first among you
shall be your slave;
[28] just as the Son of Man did not come to be
served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Every Christian is needed for ministry
1 Cor. 12:27
Now you are Christ's body, and individually members of it.
Every Christian is accountable for ministry
Ephes. 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Every Christian will be rewarded for their ministry
Col. 3:23-24
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for
men; [24] knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the
inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.
NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE IS IT WRITTEN THAT MINISTERS MUST WEAR A WHITE
COLLAR - GRADUATE FROM
SEMINARY (cemetery); BE CALLED REVEREND OR HAVE
THE LETTERS M.DIV. AFTER THERE NAME - MINISTERS ARE
NOT HIRED BY MAN
THEY ARE ANOINTED BY GOD
