SISSIES GO TO HELL
Are You Willing To Pay The Price To Be
In The Presence of God?
It doesn’t take much to go to hell - in
fact the less you do the
more likely you will end up there.
IT TAKES A REAL MAN OR WOMAN TO GO TO
HEAVEN - TO REPENT - TO BE
BAPTIZED - TO BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
I. WHY SISSIES GO TO HELL
FEAR OF FAILURE
2 Peter 2:15
forsaking the right way they have gone astray, having followed the way
of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness,
PEER PRESSURE
1 Samuel 15:24
Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned; I have indeed transgressed
the command of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and
listened to their voice.
FEAR OF LOSS
Matthew 19:16-17
And behold, one came to Him and said, "Teacher, what good thing shall I
do that I may obtain eternal life?" [17] And He said to him,
"Why are
you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if
you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."
Matthew 19:22
But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieved; for
he was one who owned much property.
FEAR OF CHANGE
Acts 7:51
"You men who are stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are
always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers
did.
II. CHANGED BUT UNCHANGED
Behavior changes do not equal
salvation
Titus 3:5
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in
righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of
regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
Church attendance does not equal salvation
Judas didn’t miss a service
Financial support does not equal salvation
Acts 5:1-11 (Ananias & Sapphira)
Real change came through a real man
Jesus
Romans 5:19
For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners,
even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made
righteous.
III. THE STANDARD OF A REAL MAN “JESUS”
A man of truth
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one
comes to the Father, but through Me.
A committed man
Hebrews 12:2
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for
the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has
sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
A man of purpose
Luke 19:10
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
A man of promise
Matthew 5:17
"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not
come to abolish, but to fulfill.
IV. GIVE ME A MAN
Give me a man of truth
John 8:31-32
Jesus therefore was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you
abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
[32] and you
shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Give me a man of commitment
2 Tim. 1:12
For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I
know whom I have believed and I am convinced
that He is able to guard
what I have entrusted to Him until that day.
Give me a man of promise
Romans 4:20-21
yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief,
but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, [
21] and being fully
assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform.
Give me a man who will stand
Ephes. 6:13-14
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to
resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
[14]
Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having
PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,
